WHO I AM

Lexi Golinowski M.A., CCC-SLP, CBIS

I began my journey towards becoming a speech-language pathologist in 2014 at The University of Akron. I was inspired and intrigued by the wide variety of the field. Watching my own family members suffer from strokes and cancer, I decided to dedicate my professional career to serving others. The brain and neurology have always been a passion of mine which further fueled my dedication to learn and excel in this field. In 2019, I graduated from The University of Toledo with my Master of Arts degree in speech-language pathology. From that moment on, I have been completing various continuing education courses and certifications related to neuroscience, cognition, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, and the mind-body connection to further improve rehabilitative outcomes. Several certifications that I hold and apply to every day practice include SPEAKOUT! ®, LSVT LOUD and CBIS. Additionally, I have become an approved instructor of the Brain Injury Fundamentals course through the Brain Injury Association of America.
